Children’s Day 24th July

Wow! We had a great day today as we honoured our children and blessed them. The children led two praise songs during the worship time and we had special games, interviews and testimony during the service. Sermon was “Who is the Greatest?” I particularly emphasised the importance of parents making God a priority in the lives of the children both by their training and example. Afterwards we laid on lunch in the Coffee Shop for children, their parents and relatives. Superb meeting, and about a dozen visitors coming.

Where There’s God’s Will – Kashmir

Another video in the “Where there’s God’s Will, there’s always God’s Way!” series! Drass in Kashmir is the second coldest inhabited place on earth with temperatures reaching minus 45 degrees. Ten years ago we found out there was no church there, so we sent out someone to start one. I finally was able to take the two day trip to visit! See for yourself!

Here is the latest missions video of my trip to Burma earlier this year. It is entitled “Where There’s God’s Will… “ We have worked in Burma (Myanmar) for 13 years now, and have over 30 churches there. This video is about the work and also our future plans. Any time now Mike and Elizabeth Sherwood will arrive from the UK to be our Summer Conference speakers. The theme is The King and I!

Why the King and I and not The King and Me? I is the subject of the sentence, not the object! Get it? We are the King’s subjects not His objects! Don’t forget it!

UK trip

Back from my rest in the UK, my name is changed from Lotsa Fun to Nosey Grindstone. Had a great time in Yorshire with my family, and then went for a week’s trip to the Farne Islands, Scotland and the Lake District with my faithful foto friends David and Paul Littlechild. Awesome time, fantastic fliks, super fellowship and a restful time.

The Road Less Travelled – Nate and Me in India HD Video

Himalayan Adventure.
Last October Nathan was able to spend 6 days with me in Kashmir, India. After a couple of days on Dal lake we travelled by road from Srinigar in the Kashmir Valley to Leh, Ladakh. This is the highest navigable road in the world which in places goes higher than 18,000 ft! The road is dangerous with sheer drop offs of more than 2000 ft. We travelled two days in and out and didn’t see a white face the whole way, but what we did see was amazing mountain scenery that would be described as breath taking if we had had any breath at those altitudes! This video makes a Nat Geo special seem like a walk in the park! Wow!
